Novus provided services filling the roles of technical lead, project engineer and system engineer for Breeze-Eastern on a program developing their next generation high end helicopter rescue hoist product family. This rescue hoist system, to be used throughout the world, is designed specifically for search and rescue missions of military and civilian helicopters. Novus is also currently providing electrical and systems engineering services on a Breeze-Eastern program developing cargo winch and crane systems for the Airbus A400M aircraft.
Novus provided technical lead and system engineering services to GE Aviation for the development of aerial refueling systems on the Boeing 767 International Tanker. Services were provided for a period of seven years from concept development through flight testing for the boom actuation and control system. Design, test and problem resolution services were also provided to GE Aviation for the hose and drogue refueling systems on this aircraft.
Novus provided modeling, simulation and control algorithm development services to the GE Global Research Center for the development of a next generation X-Ray tube for medical imaging.
